Special Interest Groups
Special Interest Groups help members connect on a more personal level and tend to be rewarding and fulfilling. Form a group comprised of members sharing a common interest (Book Club, Mommy ‘n Me, Sister Mixers) with the intention of having this group create a bond with one another as well as the alumnae group. Interest Groups should have a chairman to be a liaison between the SIG and the alumnae chapter or association.
Arlington Special Interest Groups
The Arlington Alumnae Group has two Special Interest Groups (SIGS). These allow sisters to get together outside of regular events to participate in a shared interest or activity. These groups are informal and events are flexible in frequency based on the evolving wants/needs of those interested. SIGS are meant to be a fun addition to regular membership and we would love for you to try one or all of them out! If you are interested in either of the SIGS, please contact the sister listed.
"Cooking with DG"-Typically classes are held at Sur La Table in Southlake or Central Market with a variety of cuisines. Contact Kathie Shaffer at (817) 360-2660 if interested.
"Do Good"--Types of events would include service-based projects. Contact Marlett Reddin at (817) 507-8307 if interested.
